Episode twenty nine– The one about things you should be able to do

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now that'll be the end of it”. – ‘Taken’ Phone speech

Let’s hope we never need to use this speech, but you never know, so in this week’s show we work through a list of things you should be able to do. By no means is this a full comprehensive list, but it’s a great top 15 to get you started. 

Sacha has some reservations that some of them are a personal attack, but hey, if the shoe fits right?

From introducing yourself to introducing others, this certain set of skills if crafted correctly will raise your street cred. 

Plus, what if you're in a room in the middle of nowhere, you need to wear a shirt, that shirt lost a button? What do you bloody do now?

How many can you do?

  • Be able to explain what you do in 10sec 
  • A 3min life story
  • One karaoke banger 
  • 20 push-ups 
  • 1 signature dish
  • The ability to have a conversation with someone you don’t know 
  • Know how to swim 
  • Be punctual
  • Basic budgeting 
  • Hold a baby
  • Be grateful for one thing every day 
  • To not just talk about yourself 
  • Know how to introduce somebody 
  • Change a car tyre
  • Offer condolences 
  • Sew on a button
